After giving fans a taste of what to expect during last month’s Future Games Show, developer World Makers has announced that their upcoming horror social deduction multiplayer game Deceit 2 will arrive on Steam and consoles on August 31st. In addition, for those attending TwitchCon Paris, you can get a chance to play the game tomorrow.
Deceit 2 will mark the franchise’s console debut, after the original Deceit was launched for PC via Steam back in 2017. Console players will also be able to play with PC players using crossplay compatibility. Deceit fans can expect to see revamped gameplay mechanics for Deceit 2, an overhauled graphics and lighting system built on Unreal Engine 5, and an immersive horror atmosphere that creates tense gameplay moments as Innocent players attempt to escape the Asylum from the clutches of hidden Terror players.
And as mentioned, players will have one last chance to get their hands on the game ahead of its release. The World Makers team is exhibiting at TwitchCon Paris from July 8-9, with game stations set up to play rounds of Deceit 2, and members of the dev team on-site to chat about the game. If you’re attending TwitchCon, you can find them at Booth #170.
Deceit 2 is currently in development for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
