‘Weird West: Definitive Edition’ Coming to the Nintendo Switch Digitally and Physically

After being released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series earlier this month, Devolver Digital and Wolfeye Studios have announced that the Nintendo Switch will be getting a version of Weird West: Definitive Edition, as well. No release date has been announced, however.

Gematsu had spotted listings for Standard and Deluxe physical Switch versions of Weird West: Definitive Edition on Amazon. When asked about the listings, Devolver acknowledged the leak, but said that they “aren’t sure when quite yet” when it would be available for Switch players.

Switch users aren’t the only ones getting a physical edition of Weird West, as PS5 owners can also pre-order either a Standard or Deluxe edition of the game. The latter includes the Deluxe Edition box, a 104-page artbook and a voucher for the digital soundtrack.

From the co-creators of Dishonored and Prey at WolfEye Studios, Weird West is a dark fantastical reimagining of the Wild West, where lawmen and gunslingers share the frontier with fantastical creatures, each playing by their own rules and their own peculiar motives. Players will journey through the story of a group of atypical heroes, with each journey being unique and tailored to the actions taken.

The original version of Weird West is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, whereas the enhanced digital Definitive Edition is available on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
