Those looking forward to developer Destructive Creations’ dark WWII tactical strategy game War Mongrels will have to wait a little longer. Originally scheduled for a September release, the game is now slated for October 19th on Steam, with the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions due out later.
On the plus side, the developers have dropped a new gameplay trailer, which provides an extended look at the real-time tactics used in the game, as the main characters, two captured deserters of the German army, take their chance to attempt escape once again.
War Mongrels is an isometric real-time tactics game where you take control of a squad of soldiers on the Eastern Front during World War II. Your mission during the story-driven campaign is to kill Nazis, but you’ve also got to contend with the atrocities of war taking their toll on your soldiers.
