As scheduled, Bethesda and developer Arkane Lyon unveiled the 9-minute gameplay walkthrough footage for Deathloop at yesterday’s State of Play. The footage goes through the varying playstyles you’ll employ during your loops, as well as demonstrating your abilities (in this case, the Karnesis ability).
In Deathloop, two rival assassins are trapped in a mysterious timeloop on the island of Blackreef, doomed to repeat the same day for eternity. As Colt, your only chance to escape the loop is to assassinate eight key targets before the day resets. You must learn from each cycle – try new paths, gather intel, and find new weapons and abilities.
Deathloop is due out for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on September 14.
