Those itching to sink their teeth (sorry) into Stunlock Studios’ vampire survival game V Rising will be happy to know that the open-world title is now out in Early Access on Steam. According to Stunlock, this is only the beginning, as they have a “lot of plans moving forward” before the game exits Early Access.
If this is your first time hearing of V Rising, it’s an open-world survival game that sees you as a newly-awakened vampire in a world ruled by humans. In your rise to become the next Dracula, you’ll feed on blood to gain new powers, hide from the scorching sun, and engage in real-time PvE and PvP combat set in a dark fantasy realm.
Along the way, you’ll be constructing your castle, pillage villages, skirmish with bandits, and delve into the lairs of supernatural beasts. You also have the ability to invite friends to join as you explore a vast open world. You can also choose to attack other player’s castles, or play the peacemaker in your quest for power.
