We could all use more Doom mods, right? The latest mod however moves away from the series’ trademark FPS roots, and instead turns Doom II into a bloody beat ’em up. Created by edypagaza, Doom Fighters is pure brawling action with a variety of punches, kicks, and of course, executions.
The modder even threw in a DOOM Eternal reference with the inclusion of The Crucible, so you can slash up demons as well as using your fists. Perfect for Doom II‘s 27th birthday, the mod works with any Doom II campaign.
Admittedly, this initial release is a little rough around the edges. However, edypagaza is aiming to continue to refine the mod with goodies such as destructible environments, more weapons, and even an NPC to help you out with your knuckle-dusting.
