Two recent theatrical releases make their debut at home today, while the straight-to-digital market offers up a nightmarish children’s TV show, hungry vampires, and a twisted romance.

The set of a kids’ television show becomes a nightmarish hellscape in Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round, a brand new horror movie now streaming on Bloody Disgusting’s Screambox.
While Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round is exclusively streaming on Screambox, you can also rent or buy the film on traditional Digital outlets including Amazon Prime beginning today.

Michael Gilio, the screenwriter behind Dark Harvest and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, stars in the movie from writer/director Aidan Leary, making his feature debut.
Leary co-wrote the screenplay with C.R. Thompson.
Monkey’s Magic Merry Go Round is the latest horror film on the Terror Town genre slate from producer Joe Swanberg (You’re Next, Offseason) and Yale Productions.
The first film from the Swanberg slate, Kenneled, is also now streaming on Screambox.

Writer-director Dennis Iliadis (The Last House on the Left 2009, Delirium) is back with Buzzheart, and the psychological thriller is now available on Digital from Dark Star Pictures.
Set in Iliadis’ native Greece in the 1990s, Buzzheart follows shy 19-year-old Argyris, who finds himself unexpectedly dating Mary — a beautiful and enigmatic young woman seemingly out of his league. Fresh out of theaters, Lee Cronin’s The Mummy from New Line Cinema is now available on Digital outlets at home ahead of a physical media release on July 14.

Hunter Schafer, Atheena Frizzell, Kaia Gerber, Jessica Brown Findlay, Alba Baptista, Isaura Barbé-Brown, Sian Clifford, and FKA Twigs round out the cast.
The movie features original songs by Jack Antonoff, Charli xcx, and FKA Twigs.

Indie vampire movie Blood & Rust was unleashed on Digital by Cranked Up Films today.
The film is directed by Jeremy Herbert, written by Herbert and Wolf Stahl.
