[Trailer] ‘Doom’-Inspired Roguelike ‘Jupiter Hell’ Comes Out of Early Access Next Month

Remember ChaosForge’s Jupiter Hell? The game was to come out of Early Access on Steam way back in 2019, but that never materialized. However, two years later, and it’s finally set to try again next month.

ChaosForge and publisher Hyperstrange have announced that the title, which is likened to chess (but with shotguns) will be fully out of Early Access on August 5. Inspired by Doom (well, more like the spiritual successor to DoomRL, a Roguelike that turned the FPS into a turn-based tactics game), Jupiter Hell sees you stuck on the moons of Jupiter with hordes of zombies, demons and other hellish denizens. You’ve got to rip and tear through ’em while stockpiling weapons.

The game has been seeing monthly updates for quite a while now, the latest being named “Curio”, which has seen the devs add new weapons and drops, alongside the typical fixes and enhancements to the game.
