[Trailer] ‘Bloodborne’ PS1 “Demake” Coming This January

We’ve mentioned developer Lilith Walther’s demake of From Software’s Bloodborne a couple of times already, and now we’ll be able to get our hands on in in the new year. The developer has released a new trailer for the demake, complete with a January 31, 2022 release date.

The trailer, which again looks like something out of Nightmare Creatures on the original PlayStation, features plenty of low-poly enemies and environments, that infamous PlayStation wobble, a CRT filter and more to tickle both Bloodborne fans’ fancy, as well as those fans of retro gaming. It’s all topped off with some cool MIDI music by The Noble Demon (which you can give a listen to here).

It’s not quite Bloodborne on the PC as many fans having been pining for (or a sequel, for that matter), but one would hope that once Elden Ring is out the door, From Software would consider revisiting Yharnam for everyone’s sake.
