‘Tormented Souls’ Arriving on PS4, Xbox One And Switch Early Next Year

For those who haven’t upgraded to the PS5 or Xbox Series, and have been waiting on developers Dual Effect and Abstract Digital to announce a last-gen version of Tormented Souls, your wait is over. Per Gematsu, Tormented Souls will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch in early 2022.

In addition, since it’s that time of year, Tormented Souls will also be getting some new content. The free update is planned for release later this week on October 28, and adds a new outfit and weapon for Caroline (which you can see below). The new weapon, a modified nailgun, will be available once players complete the game.

Finally, if you love the game’s soundtrack, it’ll also be available on Steam later this week, both individually and as part of a bundle with the game.

Tormented Souls first launched on the PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on August 27, with the Xbox Series version arriving on September 7. Read our take on the game here.
