‘They Know’ – Bill Hader Will Write, Direct and Star in Horror Movie from His Own Original Story

While Bill Hader has directed many episodes of his series “Barry,” he hasn’t yet been in the director’s chair for a feature film. But that will change with They Know, Deadline reports.

The outlet reports that Bill Hader will write, direct and star in the upcoming horror movie They Know, based on an original story Hader created with “Barry” collaborator Duffy Boudreau.

They Know centers on a divorced dad (Bill Hader) who grows suspicious that his ex-wife is secretly dating a mysterious man who is having a strange influence on their children.

MRC is the studio financing the feature, which goes into production this Spring.

Bob Graf and Bill Hader will produce via Hanarply, with Alyssa Donovan co-producing.

In front of the camera, Bill Hader of course made his mark on the horror genre as Richie Tozier in Andy Muschietti’s IT: Chapter Two, the adult version of the Losers’ Club character.

Stay tuned for more on Bill Hader’s horror movie They Know as we learn it.
