‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ Finally Arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series Next Month

After multiple delays, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series owners will finally be able to get their hands on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. And as luck would have it, you’ll be able to snag it just in time for Christmas.

CD Projekt Red announced today that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will release on December 14th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. This current-gen version features all of the free DLCs released to date, and both major expansions: “Hearts of Stone” & “Blood and Wine”. On top of that, a free next-gen update will be available for everyone who owns any release of the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

And for you physical copy people, there will be a physical edition released following the initial digital rollout, with a specific date coming soon.

Topping it all off, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will also receive an update featuring numerous additions and improvements, as well as the Netflix Witcher-themed additional content. Much like the physical release, further details, including the release date, will be announced at a later date.

Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red is working in conjunction with Fool’s Theory on a remake of the original Witcher game.
