Announced a couple weeks back, Revenge director Coralie Fargeat is writing and directing a body-horror movie titled The Substance, with Demi Moore set to star.
The cast will also include Once Upon a Time in Hollywood‘s Margaret Qualley, and Deadline reports that Ray Liotta (The Many Saints of Newark) has also signed on for Fargeat’s latest.
Deadline reminds, “Details about The Substance are being kept under wraps but is said to be Fargeat’s explosive feminist take on body horror.”
The film is being made for Universal Pictures and Working Title Films. Fargeat is also producing alongside Working Title partners Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan.
Production begins in Paris this May.
