“The Simpsons” Floats Through Stephen King Parody ‘Not It’ [The Losers’ Club Podcast]

In this special Halloween bonus episode, the Losers head to Springfield — or shall we say, Kingfield — to discuss “The Simpsons” take on Stephen King‘s It. Dubbed “Not It”, this unique “Treehouse of Horror” one-off puts a Simpsonian spin on our favorite novel from 1986 by turning Krusty the Clown into a Pennywise twinner named Krusto.

Join Losers Michael Roffman, Randall Colburn, Dan Caffrey, Sammie Kuykendall, and Jenn Adams as they discuss the new episode, revisit their favorite “Treehouse of Horror” segments, wrestle with “The Simpsons” as an enduring pop culture institution akin to King, and chart the ways the series has previously crossed over into King’s Dominion.

Stream the episode below and stay tuned later this week when the Losers deliver their book episode on The Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla. For further adventures, join the Club over long days and pleasant nights via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, RadioPublic, Acast, Google Podcasts, and RSS.
