Up next from Brad Anderson (Session 9, The Machinist) is the new horror movie Blood later this month, and he’s also directing an upcoming action-thriller titled The Silent Hour.
THR reports that Sandra Mae Frank (Daybreak) and Mekhi Phifer (Dawn of the Dead) have signed on to co-star alongside Joel Kinnaman and Mark Strong in The Silent Hour.
“Kinnaman stars as a Boston police detective who suffers hearing loss after an on-the-job accident. Sixteen months later, he and his friend and partner team up to battle corrupt cops trying to eliminate a deaf murder witness in the apartment building where she lives.”
Dan Hall wrote the script for The Silent Hour, filming in late February.
