Starring Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix in his feature debut, upcoming horror movie The Retaliators has been picked up by CineLife and Trafalgar Releasing, Deadline reports.
Deadline notes, “The Better Noise Films-produced movie will be released in the U.S. and Canada by CineLife Entertainment, and via Trafalgar Releasing for the rest of the world. A worldwide theatrical release is planned for September 14.”
In the film, “An upstanding pastor uncovers a dark and twisted underworld as he searches for answers surrounding his daughter’s brutal murder. A high-octane original soundtrack and cameos from some of the biggest names in rock music set the tone as this horror-thriller reveals a game of revenge played using a new set of rules.”
Michael Lombardi (“Rescue Me”), Marc Menchaca (“Ozark”), and Joseph Gatt (“Game of Thrones”) headline the cast alongside Jacoby Shaddix, frontman of Papa Roach.
Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee and Spencer Charnas from Ice Nine Kills will also appear.
