While you wait for the continuing adventures of Art and Sienna in Terrifier 3, Lauren LaVera will next appear in Joe Lam‘s indie The Fetus, which also stars horror vet Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects).
In the upcoming horror film…
“When Alyessa becomes pregnant, it brings up Chris’ deep-rooted trauma surrounding fatherhood. Upon discovering that their fetus craves human blood, they visit their father, Maddox, for answers.”
Joe Lam said in a statement, “With The Fetus, I wanted to delve into the emotional terrain of Alyessa’s unwanted pregnancy, exploring the complexities it imposes on her relationships with her father Maddox and her partner Chris. The fetus becomes a metaphorical antagonist, unraveling both Chris and Alyessa’s psyche, leading them on a haunting journey of fear, self-discovery, and the intricate web of family dynamics.
“Ultimately, I hope this story challenges the boundaries of the horror genre,” he adds.
Julian Curtis and Amy Arena also star.
The film hails from Shining Light Pictures and Barbhouse Productions.
