Filming is set to begin this October on the upcoming horror movie The Cousin, and Bloody Disgusting has learned this week that a true horror legend is involved in the project.
From writer/director Alexander Garcia, The Cousin will feature effects and makeup from Jason Baker (Callosum Studios) as well as makeup effects icon Tom Savini!
In The Cousin, “A family get an unexpected visit from their cousin Sarah who becomes their houseguest. Strange happenings begin occurring in the town shortly after Sarah’s arrival. Soon the family finds themselves tossed in the middle of Sarah’s Dark Secret.”
Virginia Madsen (Candyman) stars alongside Dylan Walsh (The Stepfather), Teri Polo (Meet The Parents), Casimere Jollette (Perpetrator), Emily Skinner (Crown Lake), Ronni Hawk (On My Block), Madison Shamoun (The Lake), and Tony Pierce ( The Bodyguard).
Scott Huneryager (ZaZa Rev Motion Pictures), Alexander Garcia (Multi-Valence Productions), Joanna Quezada, and Anne Stimac are Executive Producing the upcoming horror movie.
