[TGA 2025] Larian Studios Unveils Body Horror Galore in New Trailer For ‘Divinity’ [Watch]

After the success of Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios has returned to the Divinity series with, well, Divinity. Accompanied by a delightfully dark and gory trailer at The Game Awards 2025. The announcement comes after the internet was buzzing with speculation after a mysterious statue had shown up in the California desert.

The gods are silent. Rivellon bleeds. New powers stir. Larian Studios unchains its ambitions to bring you an RPG with greater breadth and depth than ever before. While Divinity is a brand new game that doesn’t require experience with previous Larian titles, those who’ve played Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin II will be able to enjoy greater understanding and continuity.

“Despite our long history with the series, this is our first game entitled Divinity,” said Larian Studios founder and game director Swen Vincke in a press release. “We’re ready to bring everything we’ve done previously into one place. This marks the beginning of something with more breadth, depth, and intimacy than anything we’ve created before. We’ve been building toward this moment ever since we took our fate into our own hands. This is the Divinity we’ve always wanted to make and you’re going to have loads of fun with it.”

The last entry in the series, 2017’s Divinity: Original Sin II, was released for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
