Talk to the Hand: Official Prop Replica of the ‘Talk to Me’ Hand Coming Soon from A24?!

A24 has a hit on their hands with their latest horror movie Talk to Me, which is performing so well at the box office that a sequel – yes, it’s titled Talk 2 Me – is already on the way.

But what about a replica of the hand that the characters in the movie use to conjure spirits from the other side? Fans have been begging for it on social media in recent weeks, and A24 posted a tweet this morning that suggests replicas of the Talk to Me hand are coming soon!

In the film, the mysterious prop is said to be the severed, embalmed hand of a powerful medium, and it’s used to conjure spirits. The basic gist is that you hold the hand and speak the words “talk to me” aloud, inviting in whatever the hell decides to come through from the other side. From there, you can let go of the hand or let the spirit inside of you. The latter option is essentially the film’s unique version of getting high, becoming something of a viral party game.

A24 is always quick to merchandise their hit movies in their official online shop, so it’s no surprise that the Talk to Me hand is on the way. And we’ve got a feeling it’s going to sell out faster than you can say “I let you in.” Stay tuned for more details as we learn them.

In her Sundance review for BD, Meagan Navarro wrote, “Talk to Me delivers an intense, nightmarish horror movie that’ll leave you breathless.” Her review continued, “There’s a refreshing ruthlessness to this cautionary tale that plays like a surge of adrenaline; it makes for one hell of an introduction to Danny and Michael Philippou’s brand of horror.”
