A month after pre-orders opened for PC, PlayStation and Xbox Series, Switch 2 fans can finally lock in their pre-orders for Tarsier Studios’ REANIMAL. This news also comes after the developer announced last week that REANIMAL had gone gold, ensuring that the game will meet its launch in the new year.
As with the other platforms, pre-ordering, those Switch 2 players who pre-order the game digitally will receive the Foxhead & Muttonhead Masks.
Those pre-orders also include the REANIMAL Collector’s Edition, which includes a physical copy of the game for consoles, along with several goodies for fans, including the Season Pass and aforementioned pre-order DLC.
Sadly, there’s no demo for the Switch 2, but you can still check out the demo on Steam, PlayStation and the Xbox Series.
REANIMAL delivers a chilling, co-op horror experience that pushes the boundaries of atmospheric gameplay. Featuring a brother and sister duo navigating a terrifying, twisted world to rescue their missing friends and escape a hellish island, the game combines intense stealth, environmental puzzle-solving, and cinematic platforming. Meanwhile, the demo has players start at the very beginning of the game, including the reunion of orphaned siblings trying to survive the most dire circumstances. The Boy and The Girl, the game’s protagonists, then begin their desperate search for their missing friends together. You’ll explore environments such as the Mill and Trainyard, and uncover the first fragments of the dark mystery that binds this unsettling world.
Look for REANIMAL when it launches on February 13, 2026.
