Clover Bite’s Metroidvania soulslike in GRIME will finally be headed to consoles. Together with publisher Akupara Games, the companies have announced that the title will be available for the Nintendo Switch in Summer 2022. No other details were announced for the port, although Akupara Games has released a new accolades trailer for the game.
In case you’re unaware, GRIME is an action-adventure RPG where you play as a humanoid being after having been “squeezed into existence” from unusual material. Born into an alien world, you survive by crushing your foes with living weapons that mutate form and function, and then consume their remains with a black hole to strengthen yourself in a world “anatomical horror and intrigue.”
GRIME is available now on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
