Even after already starting production in Las Vegas, La Llorona-themed horror movie Skeletons in the Closet had to replace its director.
Deadline reports that just a few days after the movie began production last month the project changed director from Lance Kawas to Asif Akbar, citing “creative differences.”
Meanwhile, the full cast is here with Udo Kier (Blood for Dracula, Suspira), Oscar nominee Sally Kirkland (Anna) and Louis Mandylor (The Mercenary) joining previously announced Terrence Dashon Howard, Cuba Gooding Jr, Clifton Powell and Valery M. Ortiz in the horror-thriller.
In Skeletons in the Closet, haunted by a malevolent spirit since childhood, a desperate mother allows herself to become possessed in order to save the life of her terminally ill daughter.
