Indie publisher and developer Firenut Games has narrowed down that Spring 2024 release for their dark horror adventure title Shines Over: The Damned. The unique experimental adventure will launch exclusively on March 21 for the PlayStation 5. Shines Over can also be wishlisted via the PlayStation Store.
Shines Over: The Damned puts you in a mysterious and terrifying world, where your senses will be tested and your reality questioned. You have no name, no memory, no weapons. There are no friends to protect you. You are alone except for your faithful German Shepherd dog, who will guide you through this dark world and remain by your side.
Featuring “high-tension exploration” from a first-person perspective, the game will also include platforming elements to access new areas of the world. There will also be environmental puzzles to solve, each revealing new secrets of this dark world. Thanks to the use of Quixel’s Megascans library, the game’s detailed environments are as beautiful as they are frightening.
