Sheri Moon Zombie’s Lily Munster Teased in New Shot from Rob Zombie’s ‘The Munsters’

Rob Zombie has once again taken to Instagram to give us another tease of The Munsters, his brand new upcoming feature film based on the classic television series.

Zombie revealed over the weekend that musician/composer/producer Zeuss (31, 3 from Hell) is re-teaming with him to score The Munsters, and the behind the scenes shot of Zeuss at work gives us a new glimpse of Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster. We’re expecting a trailer sometime soon. In the meantime, check out this latest little sneak-peek down below!

We still don’t yet have a release date but it’s clear that Zombie‘s The Munsters is coming very soon, with the MPA recently handing the film its official “PG” rating.

Jeff Daniel Phillips is playing Herman Munster and Sheri Moon Zombie is playing Lily Munster in Zombie’s movie, with Daniel Roebuck co-starring as Grandpa Munster.

Richard Brake (31, 3 from Hell) is playing Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang. Catherine Schell (“Space: 1999,” The Return of the Pink Panther) is playing “Zoya Krupp the gypsy queen.”

Cassandra “Elvira” Peterson and Jorge Garcia will also star.

Zombie is directing the film for Universal Home Entertainment, and it’s possible that The Munsters may end up being a Peacock exclusive. That last bit has not been confirmed.

If you want to revisit the original series, “The Munsters” is streaming on Peacock. That series ran for just two seasons between 1964 and 1966, spawning several feature films and a sequel television series titled “The Munsters Today” (1988 – 1991). Most recently, Bryan Fuller’s “Mockingbird Lane” reimagined the series for NBC, but never made it past a pilot episode.
