While we wait for tomorrow’s new trailer, the folks over at Entertainment Weekly have shared a series of new images from Scream VI to help whet your appetite for the franchise’s return.
These images give us our first look at Hayden Panettiere as her returning Scream 4 character Kirby Reed – Justice for Kirby, indeed! – along with a killer new shot of the latest Ghostface killer. We’ve also been treated to a sneak peek at Courteney Cox‘s return as franchise heroine Gale Weathers, along with the surviving Scream 5 cast which includes Jenna Ortega.
“Bringing Ghostface to New York adds an entirely new element to the story,” Courteney Cox teases in her chat with Entertainment Weekly. “Taking the character out of a small town and putting them in the heart of the city that never sleeps is more terrifying than ever.”
Panettiere teases, “[Kirby has] come a long way. What happened to her has obviously impacted her life, and it sends her in a certain direction, but she’s still the same old Kirby at the heart of it. She’s just a little older, a little wiser, but just as spitfire-y, and snarky, and all that good stuff.”
Ghostface returns to theaters on March 10, 2023.

Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Scream, Ready or Not), are both back behind the camera for the upcoming Scream movie, which is officially titled Scream VI.
