Round 1 of Fan Voting for Player’s Choice Horror Game Award for The Horror Game Awards 2023 Now Live

Last month’s nomination process for the Player’s Choice Horror Game Award for The Horror Games Awards 2023 is over and done, and now it’s time for you, the fans, to vote. Will Penkeyman of Resident Evil Central posted the lineup earlier today, with 30 titles vying to move on to the next round of voting. Players and fans can voice their choice via the official site of The Horror Game Awards.

Of the 30 games nominated, the 15 most popular games voted by you will proceed to the next round of voting. Round 1 ends October 20th, with two more rounds after that to narrow down the eventual winner.

And in case you’re wondering, those on the list are the top 30 nominated by a public vote, as long as they’re either an ongoing game or (in the case of Alan Wake 2, for example) have a release later this year.

Here are the nominees for Round 1:

  • Afterdream
  • Alan Wake 2
  • Amnesia: The Bunker
  • Bramble

  • Broken Spectre
  • Canine
  • Cooking Companions
  • Cult of The Lamb

  • Dead Space remake
  • Decarnation
