Almost one year to the day since its initial reveal, developer Teyon announced during Nacon Connect that RoboCop: Rogue City will arrive in June 2023 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Not only that, but the devs have revealed a gameplay trailer for the upcoming game, which also includes Peter Weller voicing RoboCop once again!

Featuring an all-new story that will be “faithful to the franchise’s DNA”, RoboCop: Rogue City will see players become the iconic part man, part machine, all cop hero as they attempt to bring justice to the crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit. Armed with your trusty Auto-9, factory-built strength, years of experience on the force and a variety of tools at your disposal, you will fight forces seeking to destroy the city you call home in an all new first-person, explosive hunt for the truth. You have the power to decide how to fulfil prime directives in your own way, but as the story unfolds proceed with caution because corruption and greed know no limits.

As for the gameplay trailer, we see brief glimpses of the first-person shooter in action, including an appearance of the ED-209. Fans disappointed in the 2003 RoboCop game from Titus look to have been redeemed with this one. Stay tuned.
