‘Resident Evil Re:Verse’ Delayed Until 2022

In what will surprise very few people, Capcom has again delayed the launch of Resident Evil Re:Verse from its previous July 2021 release to 2022. The free companion multiplayer game was supposed to launch with Resident Evil Village back in May, but was delayed for unknown reasons. Prior to that, the open beta test for Re:Verse was temporarily pulled due to matchmaking issues.

Capcom’s justification for the delay this time is to allow the team to “deliver a smooth gameplay experience”. Capcom is planning to share updated launch details at a later date.

As for those who purchased a physical version of Resident Evil Village, Capcom recommends that you keep track of the included Resident Evil Re:Verse download code, or add it to your account now.

Resident Evil Village is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Google Stadia.
