Remastered Versions of ‘BloodRayne’ And ‘BloodRayne 2’ Head to Consoles Later This Fall in ‘ReVamped’ Editions

Having already seen a positive response with the Terminal Cut editions on PC, Ziggurat Interactive has announced that consoles will be getting the remastered versions of BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2 later this year. BloodRayne: ReVamped and BloodRayne 2: ReVamped will arrive for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch digitally “later this Fall”, while limited physical versions of the games will be distributed for the PlayStation 4 and Switch by Limited Run Games.

As with the Terminat Cut versions, the ReVamped versions of BloodRayne and BloodRayne 2 will include support for higher display resolutions (up to 4K / 3840×2160), upscaled cinematic videos, improvements to lighting at the engine level, engine improvements to support uncompressed original textures, and improvements to the visual effects including the reflections, water, fog, and shadows.
