Ready or Not 2: Here I Come has received an R rating from the MPA for “strong bloody violence, gore, pervasive language, and brief drug use.”
For comparison’s sake, the first Ready or Not was rated R for “violence, bloody images, language throughout, and some drug use.”
Samara Weaving returns to star alongside Kathryn Newton in the sequel, which hits theaters on March 27 via Searchlight Pictures.
Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence and writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy are back at the helm.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, David Cronenberg, Elijah Wood, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, Varun Saranga, and Daniel Beirne round out the cast.
