Puppet Combo Brings ‘Cannibal Abduction’ to Consoles February 8th

Puppet Combo are back once again, giving console cannibal gamers some love with the announcement of Cannibal Abduction for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on February 8th. Previously released on Steam last year, creator Selewi, the developer that brought fans The Night of the Scissors, is teaming up with Puppet Combo’s Torture Star Video to serve up this southern style nightmare to console gamers inspired by classic slasher movies from the 80s and Survival Horror PSX games.

After borrowing his father’s car, Henry is ready to finally have a weekend trip to escape from his parents’ house. Everything was going well until the car’s engine dies in the middle of nowhere, and a humble local offers to tow Henry to his farm in order to fix the car problem. But as you might guess, the friendly local and his family have other plans for Henry.

Players will need to get Henry out of the cannibal family’s house alive. Utilize the wardrobes and shadows to your advantage to avoid being noticed by the killer. You’ll need to plan your escape carefully, as you’ll need to solve various puzzles around the house to progress, and your pockets don’t exactly have endless space.

In keeping with the Survival Horror tropes, you’ll need to gather tapes to save your progress. They’re scarce, so use them wisely. Cannibal Abduction also features cinematic camera angles, and in keeping with past Torture Star Video titles, authentic VHS glitches. It’s all topped off with multiple endings to help you discover why the family is looking to you for lunch.
