Previously Delayed ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition’ Announced for Q4 2022

After announcing the delay last month for the current-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition from its revised Q2 2022 release, CD Projekt RED has revealed that title will now launch in Q4 2022 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. This comes after the game was previously delayed back in 2021.

The new versions of The Witcher 3 will feature “a range of visual and technical improvements—including ray tracing and faster loading times—across the base game, both expansions, and all extra content.” In addition, the game will be receiving new free downloadable content inspired by Netflix‘s adaptation of The Witcher. It will be a free upgrade for users who already own the game.

Speaking of The Witcher Netflix show, it’s currently in production for its third season, with the likes of Robbie Amell, Meng’er Zhang, Hugh Skinner and Christelle Elwin all joining the cast this season.

In addition to working in-house on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition, CD Projekt RED is currently at work on the next entry in the popular series.
