Okay, so Prey is pretty much one of the best Predator films in a long while. And thanks to the renewed interest in the franchise, a modder has decided to bring the Predator into the latest iteration of Skyrim.
Originally created by roland113 for the original version of Skyrim (that mod can be grabbed here), Predators The Lost Tribe V115D has been brought to Skyrim Special Edition and the Anniversary Edition by modder Veenix1998. This mod adds three different Yautja aka Predator races to the game: the normal Yautja, Super Predator and Bad Blood Predator. Each comes with different dreadlock styles, eyes and other body customizations. The mod also introduces a whopping 42 new Predator weapons, complete with new types of masks, armor and equipment.
Players will also be able to travel around Skyrim and find technology scattered around tribes of friendly and hostile Predator civilizations. You also have the ability to use cloaking and thermal vision to sneak up on prey in order to take them down. You can even collect skulls and spines as trophies. And yes, because why not, you can even hunt Xenomorphs with the mod.
For those who aren’t too keen on playing as the Predator, you can still play as one of the other races, and still make use of a good portion of the new armor and weapons.
It’s not quite the Predator game that we’ve been hoping for to succeed Predator: Concrete Jungle, but it’s a start.
