The first clip from Passenger is only 30 seconds long, but like the trailer before it, it packs tension and scares within the limited run time.
Directed by André Øvredal (The Autopsy of Jane Doe, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark), the horror film hits theaters this Friday, May 22, via Paramount.
In the movie, “A few weeks into their van life adventure, a young couple witnesses a horrific accident that leaves the driver dead. Soon they’re being pursued by a demonic presence who’s impossible to outrun and follows them wherever they go.”
Jacob Scipio (Bad Boys for Life), Lou Llobell (“Foundation”), Melissa Leo (The Fighter), and Joseph Lopez (Insidious: Out of the Further) star.
Walter Hamada of 18hz and Gary Dauberman of Coin Operated produce, with Jenny Hinkey, Nathan Samdahl, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, and Andrew Lary serving as executive producers.
Written by Zachary Donohue (The Den) and T.W. Burgess, Passenger is rated R for “strong violent content, some gore, and language.”
