Sony has jumped the gun on Naughty Dog’s remake of The Last of Us. Previously rumoured for a while, the remake was prematurely announced via the PlayStation Direct site. Split into two parts, The Last of Us Part I will arrive on the PlayStation 5 on September 2nd. In addition, a PC version is also in development.
Rebuilt from the ground up but “incorporating modernized gameplay, improved controls and expanded accessibility options”, The Last of Us Part I also includes the prequel chapter, Left Behind. The game will be available in both Standard and Firefly Editions.
