‘Orphan: First Kill’ – Join Isabelle Fuhrman for a Live Tweet This Saturday Night

Last month, brand new prequel Orphan: First Kill was released in theaters as well as put up for streaming on Paramount+ the very same day, the film thus far scaring up $11.6 million worldwide at the box office in limited release. Countless more horror fans have been enjoying the movie at home, and star Isabelle Fuhrman wants to watch it with you this weekend!

Fuhrman, who reprises the role of Esther thanks to clever production trickery in Orphan: First Kill, will be live-tweeting along with the movie Saturday, September 10 at 10pm EST.

Stream the movie on @paramountplus, and follow along on Twitter with the hashtag #OrphanLiveTweet,” Fuhrman tweeted this week, hyping up what should be a fun experience.

William Brent Bell (The Boy, Separation) stepped into the director’s chair for First Kill, a prequel film that fully solidifies Esther’s status – along with Fuhrman’s – as a horror icon.

I tweeted last month, “First Kill plays out like a Child’s Play sequel with Esther as Chucky. It’s a 90 minute magic trick, de-aging Isabelle Fuhrman with charming old school techniques. An Orphan rehash until it’s not, with clever twists and a sense of humor about itself.”

“Esther’s terrifying saga continues in this thrilling prequel to the original and shocking horror hit, Orphan. After orchestrating a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility, Esther travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family.

“Yet, an unexpected twist arises that pits her against a mother who will protect her family from the murderous “child” at any cost.”

Rossif Sutherland and Julia Stiles star alongside Isabelle Fuhrman.

David Coggeshall (“Scream: The TV Series”) wrote the script.

Orphan: First Kill is rated “R” for bloody violence, language and brief sexual content, so you can expect to see Esther bash in some heads. The film’s official runtime is listed at 99 minutes.
