Fresh off last year’s Hulu hit Prey, Amber Midthunder has been set to star in an upcoming A24 horror movie titled Opus, Deadline reports tonight.
Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) and John Malkovich (Billions) are also on board, along with Murray Bartlett (“The White Lotus”), Stephanie Suganami (Power Book II: Ghost), Young Mazino (Beef), and Tatanka Means (Killers of the Flower Moon).
Juliette Lewis (“Yellowjackets”) is also in talks to co-star.
Deadline details, “the film to be released globally by A24 is said to center on an iconic pop star’s return following his decades-long disappearance.”
Opus marks the feature debut of writer-director Mark Anthony Green.
Deadline also notes in their report tonight, “Additional EPs include musical artists The-Dream and Nile Rodgers, who will also pen original songs for the film.”
