Online Co-Op Coming to ‘Vampire Survivors’ This Fall with the 1.14 Update [Trailer]

It’s been an eternity for Vampire Survivors fans waiting for developer poncle to add online co-op play for the game, and as their post on X states, the wait is nearly over. The game will receive online co-op as part of the 1.14 update, but that’s not the only update Vampire Survivors will be receiving this Autumn. The devs will have four additional updates, with another announcement reveal next week.

According to the announcement, the update will allow players to team up online with up to 3 other friends. “Free roam the stages whilst your friend struggles to find their way through Astral Stair, or maybe see if you can all survive Room 1665… More players doesn’t make it easier, or does it? Autumn is our time to shine, so be sure to come back next week to see what the following card will reveal… we might finally answer a burning question that has been asked thousands of times.”

As to what that “burning question” might be is anyone’s guess. The other long wait was in regards to crossplay. And that was rolled out for PC, Switch and Xbox earlier this year. PlayStation users were unfortunately excluded due to an undisclosed legal issue, but perhaps that’s now been resolved? We’ll have wait to find out.

Vampire Survivors is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
