‘Night Slashers: Remake’ Coming to PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch

Forever Entertainment is spreading the love to consoles and PC when it comes to Night Slashers: Remake. Together with developer Storm Trident, Forever Entertainment has announced that their upcoming remake of the 1993 beat-’em-up will be heading to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4  and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series. No release date has been announced.

For those who don’t know, Night Slashers originally appeared in the arcades from Data East, who also developed beat-’em-ups like Bad Dudes vs. DragonNinja, RoboCop (and its sequel), and Werewolf: The Last Warrior on the NES. Monsters have suddenly risen up all over the world, and quickly taken over. Three months after the takeover, a group of heroes have appeared, calling themselves the Night Slashers, to save the world from a supernatural apocalypse.

As you saw from the teaser released a few months ago, Night Slashers: Remake is going the Streets of Rage 4 route with its art, as well as featuring updated visual effects that “heighten the intensity of the gameplay”. The remake will also include an expanded roster, with multiplayer now featuring up to four players. Night Slashers: Remake will also include newly-arranged music, as well as the original soundtrack by Tomoyoshi Sato.
