Nicholas Hoult Cooks Up a Role Next to Anya Taylor-Joy in the Horror-Comedy ‘The Menu’; Set in the World of “Eccentric Culinary Culture”

Deadline initially broke the news that Mark Mylod will direct Searchlight Pictures’ (Ready or Not, The Night House) horror-comedy The Menu, which promises to cook up many surprises.

With the announcement came news that Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch, Last Night in Soho) is starring alongside Ralph Fiennes, while THR adds today that Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies, Mad Max: Road Fury) is in talks to co-star.

“The film is a darkly comedic psychological thriller set in the world of eccentric culinary culture, centering on a young couple (Taylor-Joy and Hoult) who visit an exclusive restaurant on a remote island where an acclaimed chef (Fiennes) has prepared a lavish tasting menu, with some shocking surprises.”

Hoult reteams with Mylod, who directed HBO’s “Succession”.
