New Patch For ‘The Mortuary Assistant’ Adds New Content, Including a New Ending [Trailer]

Developer DarkStone Digital has given fans of The Mortuary Assistant a summer treat with the new 1.2 patch, which is available now. Touted as the last major update for the game “for the foreseeable future”, the update includes the usual bug fixes, as well as adds new content for fans to discover.

For starters, the new 1.2 patch adds a new ending to The Mortuary Assistant, along with new lore-based content for fans to devour. The update also includes new haunt events, as well as a new aggressiveness slider for haunts to adjust their frequency in the game. There are also three new bodies for the player to embalm (if you’ve got the stomach for it).

Thank you everyone for continuing to support and play The Mortuary Assistant! As I’ve stated in other posts, this update will be the last major update for the foreseeable future,” explains DarkStone’s Brian Clarke. “That doesn’t mean there won’t be any updates but I have been supporting MA exclusively for almost a year now and it is time for me to focus on new projects and content. Keep an eye out for random things like new bodies, haunts, etc. but the updates will slow dramatically from here. Thank you all again so much for being here to enjoy The Mortuary Assistant!”

The Mortuary Assistant is available on PC via Steam, as well as the Nintendo Switch.
