Neve Campbell & Kevin Williamson Talk Sidney’s Journey in ‘Scream 7’ Featurette

Not only does this year bring us Scream 7, but it also marks the 30th anniversary of the original Scream.

Neve Campbell and Kevin Williamson discuss Sidney Prescott’s three-decade journey in the new featurette below.

“When I first heard about Scream 7, I was elated,” says Campbell “I was really excited to be a part of the film again and to continue Sidney’s journey.”

“Sidney Prescott has always been the heart and soul of Scream, and we get to see her in a way we haven’t seen her before: as a mother,” Williamson adds.

Find out what happens when Ghostface comes knocking on Sidney’s door when the latest installment in the slasher saga hits theaters — including IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and other premium large formats — on February 27 via Paramount.

When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.

Campbell returns alongside franchise veterans Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Matthew Lillard, Scott Foley, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown.

Isabel May, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Timothy Simons, and Mark Consuelos round out the cast.

William — who, of course, penned Scream, Scream 2, and Scream 4 — directs from a script he co-wrote with Guy Busick (Scream 2022, Scream VI).

William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein produce.
