As was expected, Castlevania is officially returning to Netflix in a new series. Announced during Netflix Geeked Week, Castlevania: Nocturne is now in production, and as some fans have expected Richter Belmont is taking over from Trevor as the latest of the Belmont clan to suit up for vampire hunting.
Led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator/Writer Clive Bradley, Castlevania: Nocturne is being produced by Project 51 Productions with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation. No date has been announced for the series, but it’s definitely not out of the question for Alucard, Maria Renard and Dracula to show up in the series.
