‘Monster High 2’ Trailer – The Ghoul Gang is Back in Gateway Horror Sequel

Released last Halloween, Nickelodeon’s live action Monster High: The Movie was a hit for Paramount+, and the brand new trailer for Monster High 2 unveiled today promises school is back in session sooner than expected.

Monster High 2 is set to premiere on Paramount+ on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

The movie will also premiere on Nickelodeon on the same day at 7 pm ET/PT. Encores air every weekend in October on Nickelodeon, as part of their Monster Movie Madness programming.

The new trailer below reintroduces our favorite Monster High students, along with a feisty new student, werecat Toralei Stripe (Salena Qureshi). Expect ghoulishly fun songs for the Monster High fan as Clawdeen, Draculaura, and Frankie find their groove back at Monster High for their sophomore year.

Based on the popular Mattel toy franchise about the children of famous monsters and creatures, Monster High and Monster High 2 come from Nickelodeon and Mattel Television.

Miia Harris, Ceci Balagot, Nayah Damasen, Case Walker, Kyle Selig, Marci T. House, Scotch Ellis Loring, Steve Valentine, Jy Prishkulnik, Lina Lecompte, Justin Derickson, Lilah Fitzgerald and Nasiv Sall lead the cast of the live-action franchise.

Monster High follows Clawdeen Wolf (Harris), who was born half human and half werewolf, after she arrives at her new school, Monster High. She quickly makes friends with her classmates Frankie Stein (Balagot) and Draculaura (Damasen), and for the first time in her life, Clawdeen feels like she has finally found a place where she fits in and can truly be herself, despite keeping her human half a secret.

“When a devious plan to destroy Monster High threatens to reveal her real identity, Clawdeen must learn to embrace her true monster heart and find a way to save the day.”

Created by Garrett Sander, Kellee Riley and Glen Hanson, the Monster High toy line was launched by Mattel in 2010, and various animated projects have been released over the years.

Watch the trailer ahead of the film’s October 5 release now.
