Minnie Mouse Slasher ‘Minnie’s Midnight Massacre’ Set for February Release

Minnie Mouse is the latest public domain character to become a slasher villain in Minnie’s Midnight Massacre.

The indie horror film will be released on Digital February 24 via ITN Distribution, the outfit behind the Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey franchise.

After being trapped for two decades in a mouse-infested storm shelter following a cruel bullying prank, a now-grown Minnie is finally unleashed. Consumed by years of isolation and rage, she tracks down her former tormentors during their lakeside camping retreat.

What was meant to be a nostalgic weekend for the group turns into a gruesome fight for survival as Minnie executes her bloody revenge, systematically eliminating them one by one.

Brett Bentman — who also helmed the upcoming Betty Boop horror movie Betty’s Revenge — writes and directs.

Hannah Hueston, Cliff Dean, and Indira Starr star with Tiffany McDonald as Minnie.

Derrick Redford of Redford Films and Tiffany McDonald of B22 Films produce.

“We wanted to bring the black and white sidekick to life,” said Bentman. “We’d see Willie in all these reimaginings, but what about Minnie? Why not give her some spotlight?”

Minnie Mouse is also slated to appear in Screamboat 2.
