You know a horror movie has crossed over into mainstream popular culture when it’s spoofed on “Saturday Night Live,” and this year’s horror hit M3GAN just got that treatment over the weekend. With the film just crossing $100 million at the box office, “SNL” aired the sketch “M3GAN 2.0,” which is actually the title of the real sequel that’s coming soon.
While you wait for M3GAN 2.0, which is unfortunately not coming to theaters until January 2025, you can check out the “SNL” spoof below that stars Aubrey Plaza as the killer doll!
Plaza plays “M3GAN 2.0” in the sketch, a new version of the AI doll that’s promised to be “even more gay.” After all, “if there’s one thing gay men love, it’s unhinged plastic women.”
The sketch even features a cameo from M3GAN star Allison Williams!
