Lovecraftian Cyberpunk Horror Game ‘Transient’ Receives Upgrade For Console Release Next Month

Originally released back in October of last year on Steam, publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Stormling Studios have announced that their Lovecraftian cyberpunk horror game Transient will be receiving a hefty upgrade when it launches for consoles on December 8 as Transient: Extended Edition. This new version will arrive on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, while the original PC version will be receiving a free upgrade to the Extended Edition on day one.

The Extended Edition includes additional gameplay, a new ending, and an assortment of quality-of-life improvements. Transient will now sport 4K resolution, additional trophies/achievements, multiple saves, and enhanced controller and force-feedback support.

Transient is set in a distant, post-apocalyptic future. What remains of mankind is now living in an enclosed citadel called Domed City Providence. Randolph Carter, a member of a notorious hacker-for-hire group called ODIN, accidentally stumbles across the truth about the citadel. A truth that might tear apart his own sanity and lead him to question his very existence.
