At Sony’s PlayStation Showcase, we finally got a look at the sequel to 2018’s Norse mythology-led God of War, and Kratos will be facing off against a very angry Thor as Ragnarok looms.
God of War Ragnarok is the official name for the sequel, and sees Kratos and a now teenage Atreus seeking out the Norse God of War Tyr in hopes of stopping an apocalyptic event.
Thor is on their tail however, and he’s certainly going to be someone to worry about as he’s voiced by Ryan Hurst, best known for his role as Opie on Sons of Anarchy, and as the hulking Whisperer known as Beta in The Walking Dead.
Interestingly, the game will act as the finale to the Norse saga of God of War, so if it’s anything like God of War III, expect that Ragnarok title to be fulfilled in bloody fashion.
God of War Ragnarok will be coming to PS5 sometime next year.
