‘King Knight’: Richard Bates, Jr. Puts His Own Fresh Spin on a Coven of Witches [Trailer]

Richard Bates, Jr. has been quietly making some of the most interesting genre movies in recent years, including Excision and Tone-Deaf, and up next he’s back with King Knight.

The film is set to World Premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival on August 8th, and we’ll be publishing a review out of the event. In the meantime, watch the wacky teaser below!

King Knight is an outsider’s outsider comedy starring Matthew Gray Gubler and Angela Sarafyan as Thorn and Willow, husband-and-wife high priest and priestess of a coven of witches in a small California community. When Willow unearths a secret from Thorn’s past, their lives are thrown into turmoil in this kooky, clever treat, decked with a wild cast.”
